At the moment there is not really much I can say about the specification of the car as it came with no documentation, it doesn’t have a V5, and it's just a shell!!

However, looking up the chassis number on specialist websites such as The Karmann Ghia Connection Website (Link 'here') I know that it was produced in 1960, and there are classic crossover car features which support this year, such as the early oval style wheel well with later nostrils, and the one year only steering wheel.

I will apply for the VW Birth certificate, which can be obtained through Volkswagen Classic Parts Website (Link ''here') and I will update the webpage with more details as I get them.

UPDATE: I have applied for and managed to obtain a NOVA certificate! That’s one thing done which I thought was going to be a major hassle!!
